View TranscriptDavid: Ok, let's try this:
A further sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend Of Korra.
Grace: Lemme think...
Grace: Well... The Legend Of Korra obviously takes place in the future, so there *must* have been *some* new elements discovered during that time.
David: Ooh... keep going!
Grace: So, logically, there *MUST* be a way to bend these elements, right?
David: *Genius*!!!!

Grace has the distinction of being the only character to have gone through multiple outfit colors before I finally decided on a permanent one (light pink, that outfit doesn't show up for another 11 strips). Additional comment: despite clearly taking place at night, I never shaded this strip because I never figured out that I could put both the shading *and* the speech bubbles on separate layers. Yes, you heard that right, in this strip (and those before it), everything but the text is on the same layer. Truly a testament to the fact that I really didn't know what I was doing at this point.

Now, I know people tend to put their shadows and highlights on separate layers, but I tend to just do all the colors on one layer (may not be the best idea, but it’s been working for me the way I end up doing it.
Anyway, I imagine if there was a new Avatar that had to master the elements, they would become the most OP Avatar ever.
